History

Simply Ballroom, established in 1999 under different ownership in the Castleton area, changed ownership in June of 2002 and moved to a brand new location in August of 2003 in the Northeast corner of Indianapolis.

As a family owned business, our studio has a laid back family atmosphere which is different from your typical ballroom dance studio. We offer private and group lessons for both adults and children and have weekly parties on Thursday nights, as well as wedding packages. We have become more involved with special events and occasions, opening our studio to different venues such as wedding receptions and birthday parties to name a few.

Every year our studio holds a showcase which gives our students a chance to show you what they have learned, by performing routines and formations. Starting with only one showcase a year, we have been fortunate to have a growth to warrant a second showcase. Since 2005, students, who have won top solo and top freestyles during the showcase, get the wonderful distinction of having their names placed on our very own "Wall of Fame". There are certain qualifications that must be met to be eligible for these awards.

Showcases are a great way to get involved in the competition scene in a relaxed environment. This is also a great way to see what the dances look like outside of the social scene. Showcases are always open to the public as well as the families and friends of those that are involved with Simply Ballroom. So, calls us and join us now.
